The Garcia Companies (also known as The ESG Companies), was founded and led by Edward "Eddie" S. Garcia (d. 5.30.2019) for more than 60 years. Under Eddie's visionary leadership and with a supportive family and loyal team beside him, The Garcia Companies grew dramatically from a small electrical contractor in 1950 to a diversified operation of professionals with signature developments up and down the East Coast.
Eddie's instinct and intellect, infectious smile and laughter, and love for humankind is ingrained in the fabric of The Garcia Companies. He worked tirelessly to build a solid foundation that would make a positive and lasting impact on the communities and individuals we reach. Today, we are honored to carry Eddie's vision forward and committed to do so with his values and beliefs intact.
Historically involved in land acquisition, design, construction, and management, we continually explore new opportunities and provide innovative solutions for development, management and leadership in the communities in which we live and work.
While we undertake and complete large and complex projects, we have maintained a small business mindset with few corporate titles. We cultivate strong relationships with contractors, vendors, tenants, government officials and others who count on us for leadership and support.
Since our inception, we have been a dynamic force, helping to envision and grow vibrant communities. We have purchased and developed some 45,000 acres of land, participated in the construction of more than 20,000 private residences, and developed more than 2.5 million square feet of commercial property.
