The Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida raised over $1.2 million for wildlife conservation at its annual ‘Night for Nature’ gala held on Friday, March 31 in Jupiter, FL. Foundation supporters raised the money to support Florida’s outdoor recreational activities, protect native wildlife, and educate future generations.The Garcia Companies was a major sponsor and its President, Josh Kellam, co-chaired the sold-out event.
Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis was a special guest and honoree, as was Florida Power and Light Company CEO, Eric Silagy, who received the Foundation’s Corporate Conservation Partner Award. Johnny Morris, founder and CEO of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s, introduced honoree and country music star Chris Janson, to receive a special python wrapped guitar gifted to him by the Garcia team for his commitment to conservation.
