In recognition of National Ag Week (March 21-27), please join us in honoring Garcia Family Farm, our 15,000-acre agricultural enterprise in rural south-central Florida, Hendry County.
Since our late founder, Mr. Edward S. Garcia, purchased the farm over ten years ago, our enterprise has grown to include a diverse set of agricultural, material, and water management operations as well as to provide land to major producers of fruit and vegetables.
A home to Pero Family Farms and Thomas Produce Company, these longtime farmers work steadily to grow and harvest quality fruits and vegetables, including green beans, peppers and more, utilizing sustainable farming practices.
Garcia Family Farm is dedicated to its multiple operations and to providing positive environments in which to live and grow. Its footprint has expanded to include extensive on-site housing, a chapel, gym and community building where daily life and special occasions are shared and celebrated.
The property and management staff have been catalysts for growth and, as a result, our agricultural holdings and diverse operations now total more than 30,000 acres throughout the state of Florida, with more managed properties expected to join our portfolio this year.
Today, we are honored to carry our founder’s vision forward and are proud to be a part of the agricultural industry and the communities in which we live, work, and grow.
